Her coat is long, thick, and shaggy, tending to curl on her stomach and the backs of her legs. Birdy is a tri-color, being liver and tan with more or less typical white Border Collie-ish markings. The patterning of her white is a little unusual on her face, though. Instead of just covering her muzzle and the space between her eyes, the marking covers all but her ear on the left side of her head. It continues over the back of her head and down her neck to join her "bib." A white streak runs down the outer edge of her right ear. The very tip of her long, fringed tail is white as well. While Birdy's right eye will darken to the lovely amber common to liver dogs, her left will remain blue. Built like a lighter, longer-legged Australian Shepherd. She is a bit chubby because of her eating habits.

Though Birdy was born to owned dogs, she is a bit more wild. She spends her time roaming Portu, searching for adventure. And food. Birdy is a bit of a gourmand. Eating brings her almost as much pleasure as exploring does. If presented with food, she will eat it all, even if she's already quite full. Though she is kind of mean and rude herself, she can't stand other dogs that act that way. Her dream is to lead a band of adventurers that roam Bonum Vitae, kicking ass and taking names. And eating. Lots and lots of eating.
