aleksandr is your typical old man. he enjoys relaxing, eating, and does not appreciate other animals in his territory. at times, he can be quite grumpy and even aggressive. however, several times he can be caught in a more calm mood. while he doesn't like trespassers, he appreciates animals who know their place and can at least respect him and be polite about it. he can tolerate those kind.

if aleksandr can be put in the mood, he even can occasionally enjoy the company of others. however, he can be picky about said company. he's easy to annoy, but if you can get him to talk, he's at least good to go for for advice. while old and territorial, he's still an old man and he appreciates he occasional company of children, even if he is impatient. of course, like any, he prefers his own kind, preferably even his own family. his stories can be very elaborate and exaggerated, and he tries hard not to be a bore, but aleksandr isn't very good at exciting stories. most of the time he tells of times he found a flourishing berry bush or the time he caught a rabbit.

nonetheless, while an impatient, grumpy, old man, aleksandr isn't bad. sure, he kills and hunts and can be aggressive. however, it's what he does and he does it to survive. it can be wary of predators, but if they don't show any will to threaten his territory and his group, he can be a bit more willing to listen. however, no matter, he is determined to stick to his own ways and doesn't appreciate change to any routine or his life.

history:
for a badger, aleksandr is nearing his old ages ( most wild badgers living between 8-10 years. that being, he feels he has experienced "a lot" in his life. however, certainly, he hasn't experienced any more than any other wild badger. he grew up in the wild with his direct family and group ( at the time, consisting of 11 badgers ). their sett had been long passed on, and currently worked on, and he had a safe life within the tunnels of the sett ( there were, after all, thirty-two exits ).

over his life, like any badger, he grew up learning about his world: what was safe to eat, how to fight, how to dig, socializing, and that sorts. aleksandr doesn't have a very exciting life, although he likes to think he does. mainly, he lived with his group in the same sett. he hunted the same prey and lived in the same territory, only occasionally broken by territorial disputes with other animals. it is here he now lives, on the island of bonum vitae between the borders of lower portu and dedcutt fields.
